Poetical miscellany of William Jordan, 1674-1687.

Poets include John Grange, Philip Sidney, Richard Corbet, T. Browne, Ben Jonson, Robert Herrick, Henry Sherley, John Donne, Sir Thomas Jay, Ra. Goodinge and Dr. Brookes. One poem is entitled "Mackbeth" (Part I: leaf 13); another "An old ditty of Sir Philip Sidneys omitted in the printed Arcadia" (Part II: leaf 10; cf. Feuillerat's edition of Sidney's Works, v. 3, p. 344); another is on the death of Captain Gething at Seador Poynt on the Potomac in Maryland (Part II: leaf 53). A number of poems are in Welsh.
